Seminar on Industrial Reading

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organized a Seminar on Industrial Reading on 23 August 2025 (Saturday) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for II, III, and IV year students (III, V, and VII semesters). Around 130 students participated in the seminar. The session highlighted the importance of reading industrial journals, technical articles, and case studies to understand current industry trends. Participants learned how industrial reading enhances technical knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, helping them prepare for future careers and real-world industrial challenges.

Robotics Workshop

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organized a Robotics Workshop on 17 September 2025 from 10:00 AM to 3:15 PM for II, III, and IV year students (III, V, and VII semesters). A total of 140 students participated in the workshop. The session introduced the basics of robotics, including robot design, programming, sensors, and motors. Through hands-on activities and expert demonstrations, students explored real-world applications of robotics in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and automation. The workshop enhanced participants’ technical knowledge, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while encouraging interest in future careers in robotics and emerging technologies.

Skill-Based Training Program – Building the Right Engineering Mindset

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science organized a Skill-Based Training Program on “Building the Right Engineering Mindset” on 07 February 2026 at 10:00 AM. The session was conducted by Dr. V. Karthikeyan, Senior Associate Backend Developer at Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation. The program focused on developing technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a professional mindset required in the engineering industry. Students gained insights into software development, industry expectations, teamwork, communication, and career opportunities. The session motivated participants to improve their technical knowledge and prepare for successful careers in engineering and technology.
