EQUAL OPPORTUNITY CELL

The Equal Opportunity Cell has been established in our college to address the issues which are related to the students and staff belonging to Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe, Other Backward Caste, minorities, persons with disabilities (PWDs) and women. The committee shall meet at least once in a semester to review the activities of the cell and solve the problems if any.

The college has set up the Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) having the following objectives:

  • To ensure that all students are treated equally and to address any issues raised.
  • To ensure even the disadvantaged/minority groups such as SC/ST/OBC are given equal position in all aspects and do not get left behind in the learning process.
  • To prevent any type of harassment against the minority/disadvantaged groups.
  • To infuse unity in diversity, among the students, teaching and nonteaching staff and to eliminate the perception of discrimination.
  • To ensure there is no discrimination in terms of religion, race, caste, disability, scheduled caste, Scheduled Tribes, etc.
