SC/ST COMMITTEE

The committee for SC/ST in T.J.S has been constituted to meet the students to understand their problem and take necessary action or render necessary advice to resolve the matter.

OBJECTIVE

To ensure protection and reservation as provided in the constitution of India. To guide SC/ ST students to manage academic and personal problems of college life effectively. To create awareness among the SC/ST students regarding various Government and Non-Government Scholarship schemes.

The cell addresses the following:

• Effective implementation of the Orders/ Circulars/ Guidelines issued by the GOI in respect of Reservation.
• Counseling the students to help them overcome inferiority complex and encourage their participation through personal grooming.
• Conduct public awareness activities for the betterment of students from SC /ST community.
• Communicate with the students and motivate them for better future planning.
